WYCOMBE MARCH ON

Wanderers are through to the semi-finals of the Berks & Bucks cup following a 1-0 win over Didcot Town at Loop Meadow.

The decisive goal came in the 82nd minute when Tom Cadmore headed home a superb cross from Chris Palmer.

Mike Williamson played the full 90 minutes in his return game while Jamie Young kept goal in a quest to regain match sharpness following a knee injury earlier in the season.

First team squad members Sam Stockley, Andre Boucaud and George Daly also played in a game Wanderers controlled for the majority.

But despite there not being much between the two sides in the 1st half, Wycombe should have gone in at the break with a lead and would have if Matt Phillips would have taken one of his two excellent opportunities.

The Blues really took charge in the 2nd half and in the end the game was far more comfortable than the 1-0 scoreline suggests.

MK Dons now await Wanderers in the semi-final.
