Wycombe's reserve side were defeated by one goal to nil away to Aldershot Town on Tuesday afternoon.

The side was a mixture of youth and experience, with Jamie Young making his long awaited come back to the team.

Despite a bright start the Chairboys went down to a single goal early in the second half, when the Shots headed home from a corner kick.

Youth team boss Richard Dobson said: "We shaded the first half but they came back in the second. I think it's a matter of fitness, our last (reserve) game was on December 18th against QPR and I think that showed.

It was still a great run out though. Youngy played really well, it was a good first game back for him."
