HOOPS DEFEAT RESERVES
By Ross Jeavons and Matt Cecil
A Wycombe Wanderers reserve side were beaten 2-0 by Q.P.R in a bad tempered affair at Loftus Road on Tuesday night.
Paul Lambert watched from the sidelines as a brace from ex-Manchester United man Daniel Nardiello saw off a youthful Blues side, who fielded four members of their U18's team in the starting line up.

One of those players, James Reading, put in an outstanding performance in between the sticks - saving well from Nardiello midway through the first half.
Wanderers responded quickly, with F.A Youth Cup hero George Daly heading just wide from six yards out.
17-year-old front man Daniel Fitchett was recently praised by the departing Greg Heald for his commitment to Wycombe's cause, and showed his undoubted talent by sprinting clear from the R's defence, though his shot was just wide of the upright.
The match was at times an unsavoury affair, with Hoops centre back Simon Walton finding his way into referee Mr Halliday's book for a poor challenge on Chris Palmer in the closing moments of the first half.
The Chairboys hard work was undone early in the second period, when ex-Barnsley man Nardiello latched on to a neat through ball before firing low past Reading into the net to open the scoring.
The home side, who had Keith Ryan and Steve Brown at pitch side, then spurned a number of chances before they finally doubled their lead.
James Reading will feel aggrieved to have conceded twice as he pulled off a number of smart saves before Nardiello bagged his brace - heading home coolly after a Chris Arthur cross.
The game had one last nasty sting in the tail, as Tom Cadmore was caught by a late tackle - and in the resulting melee found himself on the wrong end of a head butt.

Tom was left with a black eye and needed stitches in the dressing room, though the incident was missed by officials. However, an unofficial QPR website confirmed that midfielder Stefan Bailey had "blatantly stuck the nut on one of the Wycombe players" and was very lucky to escape the attention of the referee.
The Chairboys coaching staff were left incensed by this end to the game - with Paul Lambert making his feelings known at the final whistle.
Wycombe's next Pontin Holiday Combination fixture will take place on January 8th against Millwall at Adams Park. Kick off is at 2pm.
