Right-back McCoy earned his move into the professional game in the summer of 2011 following a successful trial with the Wanderers, having previously won the Players' and Supporters' Player of the Season awards for non-league Wealdstone whilst holding a part-time job in CCTV management.
The Antigua & Barbuda international started his career in Watford's academy alongside Wycombe team-mate Joel Grant and moved to Wealdstone in 2008, prior to his move to Adams Park.
McCoy made his Football League debut in January 2011 and proved to be a valuable asset to the Wanderers' back four, whilst also contributing pace and an excellent delivery when going forward.
