Free-kick specialist Sandell made the left-back slot his own during his debut season with the Blues, making 36 appearances and finding the net on seven occasions.
Having worked his way into the professional game via the non-league circuit, Sandell was part of the Bristol Rovers squad which achieved promotion from League 2 in 2007 before switching to Salisbury City, where he caught the eye of Aldershot boss Gary Waddock.
The defender then followed Waddock to Wycombe in the summer of 2010, catching the eye with his goalscoring prowess from long range.
