Left-sided midfielder Spence became Peter Taylor's first signing in charge of the Blues after the pair worked together at Crystal Palace.
Spence made three senior appearances for the Eagles and also spent time on loan at Palace's feeder club in America before turning down a new contract at Selhurst Park to join the Wanderers.
Spence scored twice in his first campaign with the club, including a stunning free-kick in the 2-0 victory over Notts County in November.
After suffering a foot injury that caused him to miss this preseason, the youngster was sent on a month-long loan to Blue Square Premier outfit Forest Green Rovers, in order to regain match fitness.
During this time, Spence started all seven of Rovers' games, before returning to play some reserve games for the Blues, but he has since picked up another injury - this time to his knee - which has thus far kept him from making his first League One appearance for Wycombe.
He is contracted with the club until the summer of 2010.
