'Palms' became Paul Lambert's first signing as Wanderers manager when he penned a two-year deal after a successful trial in 2006.
The former Notts County man scored 6 goals in 60 appearances for the Magpies before becoming a free agent at the end of the 2005/06 campaign.
With the ability to cross on either foot Chris has the versatility to play right or left of midfield or at full back which could prove a real asset to his manager.
Chris dislocated his shoulder in September 2006 and found first-team places hard to come by, and spent time on loan with Darlington at the start of the 2007/08 season before returning to Adams Park and featuring regularly for the reserves.
