John Sutton is a strong centre forward who arrived at Adams Park in the summer of 2007 after turning down offers from a number of other clubs after leaving Scottish side St Mirren.
Sutton was a trainee at Tottenham Hotspur and spent time on loan at Carlisle United and Swindon Town before joining Raith Rovers in 2003.
After scoring 16 goals in 24 appearances for the Scottish side, Sutton was snapped up by Millwall in 2004 but returned to Scotland with Dundee soon after.
Another impressive goal tally saw him move to St Mirren in 2005, where he scored 30 goals in 75 appearances and featured regularly against the likes of Rangers and Celtic in the Scottish Premier League.
After his contract expired at the end of last season, John joined the Blues on a free transfer, signing a two-year deal, and has established an excellent strike partnership with Scott McGleish.
