Leon Johnson is a powerful centre-back who joined the Blues in the summer of 2007 following his release from Gillingham.
London-born Johnson joined Southend United as a trainee and made his first team debut for the Shrimpers in December 1999 before going on to make over 60 appearances with the Essex side.
A move to Gillingham followed in the summer of 2002 and he played more than 100 times for the Priestfield side before being released in 2007.
Paul Lambert had no hesitation in snapping up the strong defender on a two-year deal and 'LJ' was one of the Blues' most consistent performers during the the 2007/08 campaign.
