 4 - 3
Date:
27/02/2010
Venue:
Edgeley Park
Attendance:
3,740
Referee:
C Webster

Wanderers fell just short of a sensational comeback on Saturday afternoon, succumbing 4-3 to Stockport County after trailing 4-0 on the hour-mark.

Ritchie Partridge and George Donnelly swept the Hatters into a half-time lead and Jemal Johnson and Donnelly's second looked to set the visitors on their way to a heavy defeat.

However, substitute Matt Phillips guided home a Kevin Betsy cross and nodded in a Dean Keates corner to give Wycombe hope, before Owain Fon Williams' own goal set up a tense finale.

Despite seven minutes of injury time, the Blues were unable to find a leveller, and must now look to get back to winning ways against Carlisle next week.
