This evening's game with Barnet offers the Blues the opportunity to move back into the automatic places in League Two.
The clash at Adams Park is one of the Wanderers' two games in hand they have on a majority of their promotion rivals and a win would see Peter Taylor's side rise to 2nd in League Two, only four points behind league leaders Brentford.
The game between the pair was originally set for Tuesday 3rd February but was rescheduled for tonight due to unsafe surroundings at Adams Park.
Since then the Blues have gone through what Blues boss Peter Taylor has described as a "sticky patch" but a win this evening would get the Wanderers season back on track as they aim to cement their place in the top three.
And tails are up in the Wanderers camp following a much-improved performance in Saturday's 1-1 draw with fellow promotion rivals Shrewsbury.
As for the visitors, they currently lie 20th in League Two, six points ahead of the drop zone but have shown signs of improvement under Ian Hendon in recent weeks, with wins over Rochdale and Bradford as well as a draw away at the league's in-form side Chesterfield.
Peter Taylor said: "Before Saturday's game I would have taken four points from the next two games, which makes Tuesday night against Barnet a big one."
While new loan signing Frank Sinclair had this to say ahead of the clash with the Bees.

He said: ""They are struggling but they are on the back of a couple of wins, so it will be another tough game.
"We don't expect any easy games because if you're not playing someone in the play-offs, you're playing someone fighting for their lives."
