Reading midfielder Scott Davies has agreed to sign a three-month loan deal with Gary Waddock's Wanderers, which he will finalise on Friday.
The deal runs until Saturday 11th December, meaning Davies is eligible to play in the home game with Bury.
Scott quickly established himself as a fans' favourite during a four-month stint at Adams Park last season, scoring four goals in 16 appearances.
The 22-year-old will be remembered by the Blues fans for his attack-minded style and his stunning strikes, most notably his brace in the 3-2 defeat to Walsall.
Davies' double Gary Waddock told
wwfc.com: "You know what you are going to get with him. He's a massive threat from midfield - he scores goals, has an excellent passing range and a terrific energy.
"I'm thankful to Steve (Hayes), who has backed me once again in the transfer market. The signing signals our intent in what we are trying to achieve this season.
"He's another new addition and although we've started the season well, we know that when the team gels we will be even more of a force.
"You can see what he thinks of the club after he came to a number of our pre-season games. Ours is the first result he looks for and we are delighted he's come back."
Waddock also confirmed that Davies will go straight into the squad for Saturday's clash with Macclesfield at Adams Park - call
