Blues defender Alan Bennett will be out of action for three weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Oxford United.

The 28-year-old has featured in all four of Wycombe's fixtures so far this season but was forced to come off after just six minutes of the derby stalemate, with Leon Johnson taking his place alongside Dave Winfield.

Johnson will be favourite to keep his place in the back four for Saturday's trip to Northampton Town, who played 120 minutes of football on Tuesday night before winning on penalties against Reading in the second round of the Carling Cup.
