On the eve of the derby showdown between Wycombe Wanderers and Oxford United at Adams Park on Saturday, striker Tommy Mooney has revealed why he made the move from the U's to the Blues back in 2005.
Mooney, who currently lives in Spain but regularly commutes to England for media and coaching roles, spoke to Wanderers' official matchday programme 'Quarters' to set the record straight having previously been criticised by United's supporters for switching to their League Two rivals.
The full feature, entitled 'Mooney, What's The Score?', is contained within the 68-page programme, and both sets of supporters can find out the true story behind the following excerpt from the interview:
"I got some stick off the Oxford fans when I left but if they're honest with themselves, I hope they'll realise that it was never about money. The supporters were fantastic to me every time I pulled on the yellow shirt and it's been like that no matter what club I've played for, which I really appreciate."
Elsewhere in the programme, which costs just £3 and can be purchased at various outlets around the ground, you can read:
'The Gaffer' - Gary Waddock's views ahead of the game
A feature-length interview with Gareth Ainsworth as he prepares for his 500th professional appearance
Tributes to former club secretary John Goldsworthy, who passed away on Sunday
'Chairgirls' - A bird's eye view of life at Adams Park
'In Profile' - Kevin Betsy describes the highlights of his career so far
And much much more
