Wanderers coasted to a 4-2 victory over Blue Square South side Farnborough 4-2 at the Rushmoor Stadium thanks to goals from Kevin Betsy, Ben Strevens, Matt Phillips and Jon-Paul Pittman.
Betsy opened the scoring on four minutes after slotting home a penalty following a foul on Strevens, and the pair teamed up again on 20 minutes to put the Blues further in front.
The midfielder's rasping shot was saved by Michael Jordan but Strevens was there to calmly finish the rebound from close range.
Boro reduced the arrears four minutes later when Dale Binns cut in from the left-hand side and laid the ball on a plate for Bradley Bubb who smashed home from six yards.
But Wycombe restored their two-goal cushion when a cross from sub Dan Fitchett picked out Matt Phillips at the back post, and the winger curled the ball home to cap an impressive return to the starting line-up following international duty.
Three became four soon after when dazzling footwork from Jon-Paul Pittman created a shooting opportunity inside the area and the in-form striker shot across the keeper to bag his eighth goal of pre-season.
However, arguably the best goal of the game was saved for Boro's Anthony Thomas, who collected a fine crossfield pass and bent a superb effort past Steven Arnold from the corner of the area.
