Wanderers entertain Championship side Reading in their first home friendly of the summer on Saturday (k.o. 3pm).

Gary Waddock's men have impressed in pre-season so far, easing past Chesham United, Hayes & Yeading and Uxbridge and drawing with npower League 1 sides Yeovil Town and Brentford. 

Matt Bloomfield and Leon Johnson will both get game time after recovering from their respective injuries, while new recruit Alan Bennett will play against one of his former clubs. 

The Blues boss said: "It's another step up from the Brentford game and they're a good club at Championship level.

"It's a big test for us which we're looking forward to, and again it's a fitness exercise for us.

"Hopefully it's a nice day and everyone comes out to have a look at the new signings and the group we're putting together."

Royals boss Brian McDermott will field a strong side at Adams Park after naming the likes of ex-Wanderer Simon Church, Australian international goalkeeper Adam Federici, star midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson and ex-Premier League full-back Andy Griffin in their 19-man squad.
