DOYLE REPLACED BY AYLES

Posted on: Tue 13 Jul 2010
Wycombe Wanderers can confirm that Head of Medical and Sports Science Damien Doyle has left the club to take up a role with MK Dons, with Stuart Ayles joining the Blues in his place.

Ayles, who started work with the Wanderers on Monday morning, arrives with a wealth of experience on his CV, having previously enjoyed spells with Charlton Athletic, Hull City and American side LA Galaxy.

"I'm really happy to have Stuart on board and I'm sure the players will enjoy working with him," said Waddock. "He's got plenty of experience and he'll be a great asset to the club."

Doyle arrived at Adams Park in 2008 to form part of Peter Taylor's backroom staff, and proved to be a popular character within the camp as the Wanderers won promotion to League One the following season.

But after two years with the club, Damien has decided to rejoin the Dons, with whom he spent a spell as sports therapist in the 2006/07 campaign.

Blues boss Gary Waddock said: "I'd like to pass on my thanks to Damo as I've really enjoyed working with him and he's done an excellent job, not just in the time that I've been here but also before I arrived. We all wish him well in his new role."

Coming soon: Chairboys Player catches up with Stuart to discuss his new role with the club.
