Wanderers left-back Craig Woodman has signed for League One side Brentford for an undisclosed fee.
'Woody', who won the club's Players' Player of the Year award in 2008/09 and 2009/10, has penned a three-year deal at Griffin Park.
The 27-year-old was known as Mr. Consistency during his time with Wycombe, having played 131 games in three seasons at Adams Park.
Chairboys chief Gary Waddock told
wwfc.com: "I'd like to thank Craig not only for his efforts during my time at the club but for what he's done for Wycombe over the past three years.
"He's a good player, but this is an opportunity for him to play in League One again and we didn't want to deny him that.
"He has to look after his family and the offer of a three-year deal gives him some security."
Club owner Steve Hayes said: "Craig has been a fantastic servant for the club. He has performed consistently at a high level during his three years with us and we are disappointed he's going.
"But Brentford have offered him a chance to play in League One and we weren't going to stand in his way.
"We wish him all the best at Brentford and in his career. Craig has left the club on very good terms and I'm sure he will keep in contact."
Paul Lambert signed Woodman from Bristol City in 2007, but it was under former boss Peter Taylor that he really excelled.
He was the only Wanderers player to start every game of every competition in the 2008/09 season, missing just 10 minutes of football in the entire campaign.
The popular full-back was rewarded for his efforts, picking up both the Supporters Player and the Players' Player at the end of season awards following the Blues' promotion to League One.
Last season saw Woodman
make his 100th appearance for the club as well as captain the side on numerous occasions whilst remaining a virtual ever-present for both Taylor and Gary Waddock.
