Wycombe have beaten Tranmere 3-0 at Prenton Park thanks to a brace from striker Alex Revell and Matt Bloomfield's first goal in two and a half years.
Revell's first came courtesy of a smart finish after Gareth Ainsworth's shot was blocked, and his second came about when he charged down keeper Luke Daniels' clearance and looped the ball home from 30 yards.
Bloomfield sealed the win when he nodded home inside the six-yard box from Kevin Betsy's cross following a quick counter-attack, and the Wycombe fans could enjoy an excellent night out on the Wirral.
Gary Waddock names an unchanged side from Saturday's 2-0 win over Hartlepool, so Lewis Hunt continues at centre-back alongside Chris Westwood.
Meanwhile, Gareth Ainsworth wears the captain's armband in the absence of Adam Hinshelwood.
