BOSS CALLS FOR "WINNING MENTALITY"

Posted on: Mon 05 Apr 2010

Gary Waddock insists his side need to develop a winning habit as they look to beat the drop from League One, starting with a "massive" game at Walsall on Easter Monday.

The 2-1 defeat at home to Huddersfield on Saturday has left the Blues with a mountain to climb if they are to achieve survival, and having previously been reluctant to label games as "must-win", Waddock knows his side need three points from the West Midlands:

"It's a massive game and we have to win it, make no mistake about it," he said. "We need to get a winning mentality and if we have our worst performance of the season and win, I don't care.

"A win changes everything but it's getting vitally important that we win games. There are enough points left to play for to claw ourselves out, but we need to win on Monday."
