Gary Waddock has called on his players to be "brave in possession" when Exeter City visit Adams Park on Saturday.
The crunch clash starts the final countdown of fixtures and the Blues boss knows the outcome of the game could prove pivotal in his side's fight for survival.
Gary's full interview"It's a big game, we know that," Waddock told
Chairboys Player. "But, as always, we'll be looking to take the game to Exeter. We can't dwell on the past; it's about what happens this Saturday.
"The only way we are going to get out of this situation or get the win on Saturday is by being tough, strong and mentally strong, but also being brave in possession of the football. We need to show all those qualities this Saturday."
Waddock never lost a home fixture to the Grecians during his Conference days at Aldershot but he says that will count for nothing when Paul Tisdale's men come to town.
He said: "They are a good outfit. Paul has done a fantastic job down there achieving back-to-back promotions but this is a different type of pressure for him, his staff and his players.
"Back-to-back promotions bring a nice pressure but this is different. I'm sure he'll be the first one to admit that if he can get his club out of the situation they are in then it will be as good as a promotion."
Wanderers drew 0-0 with Carlisle United in their last outing at Adams Park and the 47-year-old wants a vast improvement this weekend.
Waddock said: "It was flat all round and we want it buzzing here this Saturday. If the players and fans can get going at the same time then it will be an opportunity for us to hopefully get a win and give us some hope of trying to add to the points we've got.
"Our home form has to be better because we need to be winning here. We need to be together on this and work towards that performance and result."
