Gary Waddock says the pressure will be on Saturday's opponents Oldham when the two sides meet at Boundary Park.
The Latics bagged themselves a big three points on Tuesday night in their fight for survival, with a 2-0 win at home to fellow strugglers Leyton Orient.
But the Blues boss believes the weight of expectation created by this result, coupled with the Chairboys' decent away form since the turn of the year, means that the onus is firmly on Oldham to perform once again on their home turf.

"We're away from home, so the pressure will be on them to back up their result in midweek," he told Chairboys Player.
"Away from home we've done reasonably well - take out one or two games where we haven't performed - but in the main, I think the pressure's on the home side."
The defeat at Stockport two weeks ago was the first time that the Blues have failed to secure any points on their travels this year, after victory over Bristol Rovers as well as draws against Leeds, Southend and Brentford.
A win for the Chairboys at Boundary Park would dramatically close the gap on their rivals at the foot of the table, yet Waddock admits that his players will have to perform better than they did in last weekend's 0-0 draw with Carlisle if they are to collect the three points.
He said: "Everybody expected us to pick up three points against Carlisle - who have done well this season - but it wasn't to be and we have to make sure that we perform Saturday to get anything from the game."
"They've got their situation to get out of; we've got our own; we have to make sure that we go up there, do a professional job and hopefully get the result that we're after."
Waddock will have an almost fully fit squad to pick from for the trip to Greater Manchester, with Gareth Ainsworth available again after suspension, whilst Leon Johnson and Ian Westlake are the only injury absentees.
