Wanderers will be looking to close the gap on 19th placed Oldham Athletic when the two sides meet at Boundary Park on Saturday (k.o. 3pm).
Gary Waddock's men currently sit 23rd in League One but a win in Greater Manchester would move the Chairboys to within just four points of Dave Penney's Latics with 10 games still to play.
The Blues will be boosted by the return of influential figure Gareth Ainsworth, who is available for selection again after serving a three-game suspension.
"I'm really looking forward to being involved in some capacity on Saturday," Ainsworth told
Chairboys Player.
"I don't mind if I'm in the stand, on the bench or if I'm in the team, I just want to get the three points.
"Games are becoming crucial now. The results have gone against us in the last few days but if we can get back in the mix then it brings a few more teams into the equation."
Oldham will be looking to make it back-to-back wins when they welcome Wycombe to Boundary Park, after their 2-0 victory over mid-table Leyton Orient on Tuesday evening.
However, their first win in five games came at a price with on-loan striker Daniel Nardiello having to be stretchered off in the second half with a torn hamstring.

Opposition View
"It was important we didn't get beaten at Exeter and that we beat Leyton Orient which we did. We need to back it up with a win against Wycombe and then we can look forward to going to Stockport on Tuesday.
"There are no easy games. It is about how you play and start the game. If we start nice and brightly, like we did on Tuesday, I have every confidence we will be fine."
Latics' boss Dave Penny, talking to Oldham's official website.
