Matt Harrold is back in the frame for Saturday's League One encounter at Stockport County after overcoming an illness, wwfc.com can reveal.

The striker missed Tuesday's draw with Southampton but returned to training on Thursday ahead of the weekend trip to Edgeley Park.

"He's okay," Gary Waddock told Chairboys Player. "He was back in today (Thursday) and will be in contention, but I've got to decide what front two or front three is the best for this game."

Harrold's return will see him battle with former Southend team-mate Alex Revell, Jon-Paul Pittman and Stuart Beavon for the starting spots in attack.

The Blues boss said: "We've got four strikers who have all done well but it's about getting the right combination to get us the wins that we need."
