Wanderers will be looking to make it two wins in the space of just four days at Adams Park when they entertain Southampton this evening (k.o. 7.45pm)
Gary Waddock's men go into the clash with the former Premier League regulars on the back of a morale-boosting 1-0 victory over high-flying Millwall on Saturday.
But the Blues boss knows his side will once again have to be at their best if they are to complete an Adams Park double.
Gary's full interview
Talking to Chairboys Player, he said: "They had a fantastic result at Norwich on Saturday so they will be coming here full of confidence, but so are we after our result. It's looking like being a very exciting game.
"We know what a tough task it is going to be - they are a very good side. Alan Pardew (Southampton manager) has put together an extremely strong squad and it will be difficult for us, but we will give it a good go.
"We have to pick up wins, we have to pick up points, and the only way to do that is by putting in committed and determined performances. At the moment that is what's happening but we've got to continue doing that."
Southampton's credentials were highlighted at the weekend when they beat Paul Lambert's league leaders 2-0 on their own turf, and many believe the Saints would be challenging the likes of Norwich, Leeds and Charlton at the top if they hadn't started the campaign on -10 after going into administration at the back end of last season.
The south coast outfit arrive at Adams Park in 12th position in League One but, with games in hand on the teams above them, they will still believe a play-off place is achievable.

Southampton boss Alan Pardew, speaking to saintsfc.co.uk:
Pardew previews Wycombe
"Wycombe have only lost one in their last five, and won a couple of those. They have picked up lately and Gary Waddock is a good manager.
"It has taken him a while to turn it round there, but he will turn it around and at the moment they are the best they have been all year.
"I think being at home with a good win under their belts will mean they will be looking to beat us, but we are a good side and we are looking to finish these last seventeen games as the strongest team in the division."
Team News:
Wycombe: Gareth Ainsworth serves the first game of a three-match suspension after being sent off in Saturday's win over Millwall. Leon Johnson (knee), Adam Hinshelwood (knee) and Ian Westlake (ankle) remain sidelined. The game will come too early for Matt Bloomfield who returned to full training last week.
Southampton: Boss Alan Pardew may be without midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin after he picked up a knock against Norwich on Saturday. Defenders Dan Seaborne (knee) and Graeme Murty (ankle) and striker David Connolly (groin) miss out.
