Blues chief Gary Waddock told Chairboys Player this week that Gareth Ainsworth has a chance of making his second debut for the club when Millwall come to town on Saturday (k.o. 3pm).
Watch the interview on Player.
The influential 36-year-old first appeared for the Blues against the Lions in November but his loan spell from QPR was then cut short by injury, and he has yet to feature for the club since returning to Adams Park on a permanent deal in January.
However, after being named amongst the substitutes in last week's draw with Brentford, Waddock feels that Ainsworth - along with fellow injury victim Matt Bloomfield - could be in the reckoning for the side at the weekend:
"They've got a chance, of course they have," the boss said. "They've been out for a period of time but they've done well in training in the last week so we'll see.

"Gaz was desperate to get on (at Brentford) but the players played well. He did his work in the dressing room, getting behind them and giving them a lift, and he's got all the experience and knowledge that you need. The players respect him and what he's achieved.
"Gaz will admit himself that he's not 100% fit yet but when he is, he'll be back in the team."
