John Mousinho believes the Blues can draw confidence from the way they have responded to previous setbacks this season.
The midfielder's comments come after Saturday's 4-1 home defeat to Yeovil, where the Wanderers surrendered the chance to move to within just three points of now 20th placed Oldham.
However, 'Mous' says the Wanderers are more than capable of an immediate reaction at Griffin Park on Saturday.
John's full interviewTalking to
Chairboys Player, he said: "We've had a couple of setbacks like this already this season but we bounced back after those defeats pretty strongly.
"It's just a case of having a good week in training, putting the Yeovil result behind us and cracking on against Brentford."
'Mous' admits the loss to Terry Skiverton's side has knocked the squad's confidence but, crucially, hasn't dampened the spirit and unity within the Chairboys camp.
The Wanderers' no.20 said: "Obviously the confidence has been knocked a bit but the spirit and unity is still good. That's probably the building block we've got to use to get out of relegation trouble.
"We are aware of the situation ahead of us and the task we face - we're looking forward to it."
