Striker Matt Harrold says that the Blues have got to stick together and move on as they look to bounce back from Saturday's defeat against Yeovil.

The 25-year-old - who capped a good performance with the Chairboys' only goal in the 4-1 loss - admits that the game was a blemish in an otherwise decent run of form since the turn of the year, but claims that it is how the club react to this that is most important.

"We've played well [in past weeks] and everyone's just got to stick together now because we have been playing well and it is a huge blip," he told Chairboys Player.

"As hard as it is we've got to pick ourselves up, be strong and get on with it, and work hard towards next week and Brentford."

Having now become Wanderers' top scorer in the league this season (with seven goals), Harrold himself has set his sights on helping the Blues bounce back by netting more from open play.

His strike against the Glovers was the first he had scored in this manner since the trip to Norwich in late August, but having seemingly found his touch again, the forward is hopeful that more will follow.

"I know I had a bit of a sticky patch when things weren't going great, and it's hard to do that [score goals] all season," he said.

"But I've always carried on working and I'll just try and keep it going now, and hopefully score some more goals for the team, because we need them."

With a tough trip to Brentford next for Gary Waddock's side, Harrold - who scored the winner in the reverse fixture earlier in the season - suggests that the Chairboys should draw inspiration from their November victory over Millwall, when they upset the odds and conquered a team that had been previously unbeaten at home.

He said: "Obviously next week is going to be a big game and we've got to be able to deal with it, really grind, work hard as a team and do everything we can.

"It will be a hard game but we played Millwall away when things weren't going too well and we won 2-0, so we've got to look to that and just be solid and try and win it."

Another performance like that would certainly give Wanderers a great chance against the Bees, and having completed one double already this season - over Bristol Rovers - the Blues have got to believe they can do it again at Griffin Park.
