Gary Waddock says the Chairboys fans have a crucial role to play in helping the club maintain its League One status.
Waddock's comments come ahead of Saturday's crunch game with former Wanderers defender Terry Skiverton's Yeovil Town at Adams Park.
A win for Wycombe would extend their unbeaten run to three games and possibly move them to within two points of safety.
Talking to
wwfc.com, the 47-year-old said: "The supporters have been great and they've really got right behind the team.
"We are going to need that right the way through until the end of the season to help us get the points and the wins we need to stay in League One.
"It means so much to them, but it means so much to us as well."
The Blues go into the clash with the 15th placed Glovers on the back of a magnificent 3-2 victory over high-flying Bristol Rovers and in the knowledge that Skiverton's men have only won once on their travels in the last 12 months.
But Waddock knows the Blues will have to replicate their display at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday if they are to collect their sixth win of the campaign.
He said: "Everybody is on a high after the result at the weekend, but we've got to maintain that [level of performance] and build up a bit of momentum going into the next few games.
"We performed well at Bristol and picked up a deserved victory, but that's only one game and we have to do it consistently over a period of games. We go into Saturday's game with a confidence and a belief that we can win it.
"There's no doubting it's a big game but there are only three points at stake. We'll go into the game in the same manner as we always do, looking to win it.
"It will be difficult, like it always is, but if we can get the win then we will be on a little run as such."
