Alex Revell played his part in perhaps Wanderers' most significant victory in their fight against relegation against Bristol Rovers on Saturday, and then declared: "we believe we can get out of it."
The debutant found the back of the net from the penalty spot to help his new club towards three crucial points in their quest for survival, and then turned his attention to next Saturday's visit of Yeovil Town to Adams Park:
"Today's win is a massive boost for us and we can't wait to get back into training and work hard over the next week," he enthused. "It'll be another tough game on Saturday but if we win, all of the sides above us will be looking over their shoulders.
"A lot of people outside of this club have probably already written us off, but as a group of players, we believe we can get out of it."
Yeovil currently lie in 14th position in League One but with just one away victory to their name since last February, Revell feels that next Saturday's encounter could provide the platform for the Blues to collect a second successive win and strengthen their bid for survival:
"Yeovil are in mid-table and they are doing well but we need to get out and try to win every game. The gaffer's used the cliche that every game is like a cup final now, and we know we can get out of it."
