Blues striker Alex Revell capped his debut for the club with a goal in the 3-2 victory over Bristol Rovers this weekend, and revealed after the game that he thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a fine Wanderers display.
The 26-year-old made his long-awaited bow for the club following his complicated loan switch from Southend United, and capped an impressive maiden performance with a goal from the penalty spot to level the scores at 2-2.
"We've come out and played football that people enjoy watching, and I really enjoyed playing in it."

"I'm obviously delighted," he buzzed. "We got the reward for how we played because we were by far the better team for the first 25 minutes and then for some reason just dropped off a little bit. They've had two shots and scored two goals, and sometimes when you're struggling, that's how it goes.
"But the boys have shown unbelievable character whereas other teams at the bottom might have folded. We've come out and played football that people enjoy watching, and I really enjoyed playing in it.
"This was a massive massive game and to come here and win, as well as putting in a great performance, is really pleasing for the boys. This is a hard place to come if you're at the top of the league, let alone for a team in our position, so it's a great win for us," he added.
Despite it being his first appearance for the Blues, Revell was already familiar with his team-mates after spending the last three weeks training with Gary Waddock's side, and he was impressed with the way that his new club performed in a match situation:
"It was a nice start after what has been a frustrating few weeks," he admitted. "Training has been magnificent and the boys are really up for what is ahead of us.
"I thought everyone from Scott Shearer to Matt Harrold up top were superb. When you come away from home and restrict a team to only two shots in the first half, you know you're doing something right.
"It's a great result. I've been here many times as a player and never won, and I know what a difficult place it is to win, so to play them off the park is a massive boost."
