Wanderers welcome former Premier League regulars Charlton Athletic to Adams Park on Saturday (k.o. 3pm).
Wycombe go into the game with Phil Parkinson's 3rd placed side on the back of a 1-1 draw with League One leaders Leeds United, while the clash in Buckinghamshire will be the Addicks' first outing since Monday 28th December.
Twenty places and 29 points separate the two teams going into the League One encounter, but we all know the form guide sometimes goes out of the window, as we saw at Elland Road at the weekend.
The Blues will also be able to draw confidence from their second half performance in the opening day 3-2 defeat at The Valley.
The weather has again played its part in affecting both sides' preparations for the fixture, but the same can't be said about the playing surface at Adams Park, which is in superb condition despite the midweek snowfall.
With Charlton having drawn their last three and not played a competitive game in 20 days, this could be the best time for the Blues to go head-to-head with the Addicks.

Opposition view:
Phil Parkinson, speaking to cafc.co.uk:
"I went up to Leeds to watch the game on Saturday and I thought Wycombe did well.
"They were unlucky not to win it in my eyes - they played some good football and hit the post twice.
"They're a good footballing side and they like to get the ball down and play. We do as well, so I imagine it's going to be a good game."
Team news
Wycombe: Scott Davies' loan spell comes to an end at Adams Park after Saturday's game. Lewis Montrose (knee), Leon Johnson (hip), Matt Bloomfield (knee), Lewwis Spence (knee) and Ian Westlake (knee) are all absent through injury. New signing Kevin Betsy goes straight into the squad.
Charlton: Christian Dailly and Deon Burton are set to return to the starting line-up. David Mooney has re-signed on loan from Reading after recovering from a knee injury and will vie with Chris Dickson, Leon McKenzie and Jonjo Shelvey for the second spot in attack. Centre-back Sam Sodje serves the second game of his four-match ban and full-backs Kelly Youga (knee) and Frazer Richardson (hamstring) are likely to miss out again.
