Wanderers' stadium manager Richard 'Stan' Stanford heaped praise on his team of stewards and a group of supporters who worked tirelessly throughout Saturday morning to ensure the clash with Oldham could go ahead.

Heavy snowfall on Friday had cast doubt over whether the fixture would take place as both the pitch and surrounding roads were covered in snow just hours ahead of kick-off, but a massive effort from all involved meant that the game could proceed following an 11am pitch inspection.
Both manager Gary Waddock and chief executive Paul Harrison attended the pre-match stewards' briefing to pass on their gratitude:
"Thank you for all your help and effort to get the game on today - we really do appreciate it," Waddock told them. "Now we've got to get you three points so you can start enjoying your Christmas!"
Harrison added: "I'd just like to say a great big 'thank you' for everything you've done today and throughout the whole season - you do a fantastic job."

Stan's team of stewards arrived at Adams Park at 7am after receiving pleas for help from the club on Friday afternoon, and were joined by a group of supporters who responded to an appeal on
wwfc.com to join the task, alongside groundsman Mark Williams who worked tirelessly over the two days:
"Yet again the whole stewarding team has performed," Stan beamed. "We had a few supporters who came down and a lot of them even brought their own spades - it just shows how much the community is behind the club.
"The work started yesterday and I didn't sleep much last night because we really wanted the game to go ahead, and at the end of the day safety has to come first," he added.
The stadium manager revealed that he was motivated to succeed on Saturday by the postponement of the fixture of Barnet in February, when icy roads surrounding Adams Park forced the game to be cancelled:
"I don't like failure and I don't like letting Steve (owner Steve Hayes) or the gaffer down. The boys are up for the game today and we're up for it as well."
And Stan was particularly thrilled to welcome Gary Waddock to the pre-match briefing, as the manager took time from his busy schedule to thank the team for their efforts:
"It just shows what the gaffer's like," said Stan. "He's a gentleman and I know footballers have to work to a programme so for him to spend ten minutes coming to our briefing, and having an input, tells you everything."
Coming up: We hear from Scott Shearer and Matt Harrold following the 2-2 draw.
