GARY CRAVES CHRISTMAS CLIMB

Posted on: Sun 13 Dec 2009
Gary Waddock believes a productive festive period from his Wanderers side will see them out of the relegation zone by the New Year.

The Blues boss told Chairboys Player: "A lot of teams are on similar points and if you can go on a run of wins you can get close to that middle group and beyond.

"We've got to continue working hard and hopefully with some momentum behind us we can pick up one or two more results heading into the Xmas and New Year period.

"If we can continue our run over this period it will get us to where we want to be and that is out of the situation we are in. That's our short term aim, but the real target is to be out of it by the end of the season."
