MATTY MEETS THE PM
Blues star Matt Phillips has had a call from number 10, Downing Street, to meet the most important man in the country.
The 18-year-old was one of six current or former apprentices who were nominated by the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) to attend a special ceremony earlier this week hosted by the Prime Minister, Mr.Gordon Brown.
Apprentices from all walks of life were invited to the event to mark the achievements of young people in Great Britain.

This honour is the latest in a long list of accolades bestowed on Matt in his flourishing career. He was named League Two Apprentice of the Year at last year's FourFourTwo Awards.
Matt told wwfc.com: "We listened to a couple of speeches from some fellow apprentices before meeting the Prime Minister.
"It was a great opportunity for me and it's not every day that you get to meet the Prime Minister! I was very happy to be hand picked from a number of the PFA's apprentices and it was nice to be recognised."
Pat Lally, Director of Education at the PFA, said: "Matt was a credit to his club and to football in general. He was impeccably turned out, very polite and a pleasure to deal with. Everyone at the event was very impressed with him."
