Scott Davies says that he would have sacrificed his double for three points against Walsall on Saturday.
The midfielder's stunning brace gave the Blues a 2-0 lead, but three second half Saddlers goals denied Gary Waddock's men their second victory of the season at Adams Park.
Speaking to
Chairboys Player, the 21-year-old said: "I could have had three or four. Obviously I was happy with the two goals but to lose 3-2 and score doesn't mean anything, I would have rather had the three points.
"To lose the game when we thought we were on top was a bit of a killer for us. They played well in the second half and came on to us but we need to learn how to win a game and be more professional.
"I thought it was going to be one of those days when you win four or five but that's football and it comes back to kick you in the teeth."

Scott Davies is mobbed after his wonder free-kick put the Blues 1-0 up |
Davies' first on 14 minutes will undoubtedly be a contender for goal of the season after the Republic of Ireland U21 international expertly lobbed Walsall keeper Clayton Ince from 35 yards.
He said. "I saw the keeper edging and I was thinking shall I or shan't I? When it doesn't come off the lads go mad but I was hoping my ability would be able to put the ball in and luckily it came off."
A number of 'Scotty's' family were in the crowd at Adams Park and his two goals combined with a Wanderers victory would have been "special", according to the Aylesbury born midfielder.
He said: "It would have been special to score two and win in front of 20 or 30 family and friends, but I'm gutted and I would have rather had the three points and not scored."
