Wanderers forward Stuart Beavon has been ruled out of action for six weeks.

Beavon has recently undergone surgery on a groin injury and will now be sidelined until the middle of December, in time for a return to the squad for the busy Christmas period.

The striker scored his first competitive goal for the club against Hartlepool in September but has been unavailable for selection since the arrival of new manager Gary Waddock, who is keen to have the former Weymouth man back in the squad:

"I'm looking forward to having him back fit and ready for selection," Waddock told wwfc.com.

Coming soon: We bring more build-up ahead of the clash of Walsall to Adams Park on Saturday.
