Gary Waddock has called on his Wanderers side to deliver their first away win of the season at Exeter tomorrow.
The Blues boss was impressed with the Chairboys' performance in the draw with Colchester United on Saturday, but Waddock knows that it is victories the Wanderers need if they are to climb away from the foot of League One.
Waddock pre-ExeterSpeaking to
Chairboys Player, he said: "A draw at home against good opposition is a decent result but we need to win games.
"It's not where we are positioned now it's where we finish. The season won't hinge on Saturday but we've got to make sure we build on the point against Colchester and be really positive."
Waddock knows better than anyone what it takes to beat Exeter, having guided former club Aldershot to a 1-0 win over Paul Tisdale's men at The Recreation Ground last season.
However, the Chairboys chief knows the Blues will have to be on top form if they are to claim all three points in Devon.
He said: "They are a good side. We came up against them in the Blue Square Premier and in League Two last season, they've achieved back-to-back promotions and the bulk of their squad is still the same.
"They are a good footballing side and it's a difficult place to go and get a result. The manager has done an excellent job and we know it's going to be a tough test for us."
