GAFFER: WE'VE GOT TO EARN IT

Posted on: Sat 26 Sep 2009
Peter Taylor knows his side must "grind out" a result as they look to climb up the League One table.

The Blues face Swindon Town at The County Ground on Saturday with the Chairboys chief calling for his troops to put in a performance and claim their first away victory of the season.

Taylor told Chairboys Player: "The most important thing I want the players to realise is that no one is going to give you anything and that you've got to earn it. I just want us to come off the pitch on Saturday having worked our socks off and given our all.

"I don't think we're far away but sometimes when you get in a rut you're not sure when you're going to get the result. It's a case of staying determined, together and having belief that a result is going to come.

"We're not feeling sorry for ourselves. What we are going to do is grind out a result and that's what we need."
