David McCracken will walk out into familiar surroundings on Saturday when the Blues face his new side MK Dons at Adams Park.
McCracken joined the Dons on a free transfer earlier in the summer, bringing an end to a successful two-year spell with the Chairboys which culminated in promotion to League One on the final day of last season.
Talking to
wwfc.com, he said: "It will be strange playing for a different club at Adams Park. My two years at Wycombe were filled with ups and downs but it was nice that it ended on a good note with our promotion.
"I enjoyed my time at Wycombe and the fans were brilliant towards me. There support helped me settle much quicker into life in England.
"I still speak to a lot of the boys and I'm looking forward to the game."
The Scottish defender won't be the only former Wanderer returning on Saturday though, with hotshot Jermaine Easter also in line to make his comeback after injury.
'Cracks' said: "We've both had a chat and discussed what sort of reception we could get from the fans. I'm sure some of the supporters will still be annoyed with me because I've joined a rival but it was time for a new challenge."
The 27-year-old played in numerous Dundee derbies during his time in Scotland and this weekend's game will be his second involvement in a Bucks derby.
He said: "The game at the weekend is the sort of fixture you want to be involved in all the time."
