KING KEV COULD COACH

Posted on: Fri 04 Sep 2009
Kevin Betsy has revealed that Peter Taylor was a huge influence in his move to the Wanderers, as he keeps one eye on a possible future coaching career.

The 31-year-old should be pleasing crowds on the field for years to come with his undeniable natural ability, but insists that it's never too early to learn from one of the most respected managers in the country.

"The gaffer here has done a tremendous job with the team, I'm pleased that as a manager he's identified qualities to my game that he can use in his squad here at Wycombe," said Betsy.

"I'm an aspiring young man who's looking to the future as well. As a player you can learn so much from a man who has managed at the top level for a number of years, managed his country, managed under 21's.

"I'm going to gain a lot of experience during the time I'm here from a coaching point of view too and I'll learn a lot off the pitch from his methods."

The winger has already made himself popular with fans by declaring Wycombe his "number one club" after agreeing a four-month loan deal at Adams Park.
