The Blues get their Carling Cup campaign underway this evening with a tough home fixture against Championship side Peterborough United.
The two clubs have met 20 times in the league, with Wycombe winning nine games and Peterborough six. There have been five draws. However, the Blues are yet to beat the Posh in a cup game and Peter Taylor's men will be looking to end this stat with a victory on Tuesday night.
Ahead of the game, former Posh defender Chris Westwood spoke to
'Quarters'. He said: "Me being the professional that I am I want to win and in the same token they're going to want to beat us.
"You want to win and get that consistency and confidence. It's all about the start but it will be a tough game."
Peterborough have successfully reached the second round of the Carling Cup in two of the last three seasons. They have won six of their last seven away games, and have only been beaten once on their last 10 ventures away from London Road.
Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson is hoping for a prosperous run in the Carling Cup after early exits in previous seasons.
Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I will be playing my strongest possible team and I won't be making many changes.
"We want a bit of consistency in terms of team selection and we want a positive result."

After Stefan Oakes opening the scoring, The Posh struck back through George Boyd and Liam Hatch. And with defeat looking imminent for The Blues, Scott McGleish won and converted a penalty to earn Wycombe a point.
