Wanderers 'keeper Jamie Young will be hoping to play the superhero role for the Wanderers this season, and he's got the gloves to prove it.
The charismatic Aussie is a self confessed 'Batman' fanatic and has paid tribute to the latest in the character's franchise by sporting the slogan "The Dark Night" on his kit.
Copyright restrictions may have prevented the popular stopper from making true reference to smash hit flick "The Dark Knight", but that won't deter the 23-year-old from pulling on the gloves as the season gets underway this Saturday.

Superhero Stopper: Youngy will sport a tribute to Batman on his gloves this season |
"I know it's a bit childish, but I like Batman so I got the guys at Selsport to put this on for me," Youngy told wwfc.com.
"If I can play like the Dark Knight then that'll be nice but I just thought it'd be a bit of fun, I thought it'd be cool to get it because not many people have that sort of stuff on their gloves. Hopefully I can play well with them because otherwise I'll look really bad won't I!"
Young will travel with the Wanderers squad as they take on Charlton Athletic at the Valley this weekend, something which the ex-Reading man is very much looking forward to.
"It's a great stadium, a great pitch and it's going to be a good occasion."
