Matt Harrold believes the week long training camp in Devon offers Peter Taylor's new recruits the perfect opportunity to get accustomed to ways of the Wanderers squad.

Joe Cobb, Lewis Montrose, Chris Westwood and Michael Duberry have all made the trip to take part in the Errea South West Challenge Cup and Harrold thinks the new-look squad will benefit from a week away from the side's everyday surroundings.

He told Wanderers World: "All the lads are getting on really well. We had a really good team spirit last season and that's one of the reasons why we did so well.

"For the new lads it'll be good to get to know everyone a bit better and learn the new banter!"

The Blues started the competition with a 5-4 penalty shoot-out victory over AFC Bideford on Monday evening and their second Group C game is on Friday night when they face Mick Harford's Luton Town.
