The club's shareholders have voted in favour of Steve Hayes' proposal to take full ownership of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club.
Mr. Hayes gained control by a huge majority following the vast and overwhelming shareholder approval at Monday evening's general meetings at Adams Park.
The events consisted of two meetings. The first was a meeting of the founder shareholders, where more than 50% of the founders had to vote in favour of Mr Hayes' proposals for them to be passed. The founders made their support clear by overwhelmingly supporting Mr Hayes with an 81% approval of the proposals.
The second meeting was conditional on the founders' approval. Once the 81% vote had been attained, all the shareholders of the club voted, and once again the backing for Mr Hayes was extraordinary. A 75% vote was required, but this was surpassed, as a remarkable 99% of the voting shares went in favour of Mr Hayes.
