COBB SIGNS ON

Peter Taylor has further strengthened his squad with the signing of 18-year-old Joe Cobb from Leicester City, wwfc.com can reveal.

The promising left back has signed a one-year deal with the Chairboys, as the Wanderers begin to gain momentum in the summer transfer window.

The news comes just five days after the Blues announced the capture of Wigan midfielder Lewis Montrose, who signed a two year contract at Adams Park last Thursday.

"I'm pleased to get it sorted today and I'm looking forward to starting training tomorrow," said Cobb.

"I have heard lots of good things about Peter Taylor, he's a good coach and a good manager so I think this move will be great for me."
