Jon-Paul Pittman is promising the Wanderers faithful a positive approach to League One next season.

Pittman's comments come just days before the players return for pre-season training on Wednesday 1st July.

'JP' will be joined by new signing Lewis Montrose and recently turned professionals, George Daly and Dan Fitchett, as work begins ahead of the Saturday 8th August curtain raiser away at Charlton Athletic.

He exclusively told wwfc.com: "I'm sure everyone has there own individual goals and when we get back we will listen to what the gaffer (Peter Taylor) has to say for our goals as a team. What I will say though is that we will be going for it."

The former Aston Villa trainee impressed in the closing months of the previous campaign after his January move from Crawley Town, but despite praise from all corners he feels there is still room for improvement as he prepares himself for another assault on League One.

JP said: "I would like to improve on last season. Me improving as a player can hopefully coincide with more goals, learning more about the game and a general level of improved performance."
