Jon-Paul Pittman will once again be plying his trade in League One next season.
The USA born forward was part of both the Nottingham Forest and Hartlepool United squads competing in the third tier of English football four seasons ago.
And although 'JP' found first team opportunities limited at parent club Forest, subsequent moves to Doncaster Rovers and Crawley Town kick-started the forward's career.
An impressive goalscoring record at the Blue Square Premier side caught the attention of Blues boss Peter Taylor and the 22-year-old was snapped up on a two-year deal in January.
Pittman announced his arrival at Adams Park in some style when his superb individual effort handed the Blues three points at Dagenham in February and JP is confident he has become a better striker as his return to the League One stage draws ever nearer.
He exclusively told wwfc.com: "I'm picking up from when I was a 19, 20-year-old playing in League One with Notts Forest and Hartlepool.
"However, this time I will be going in with more experience, confidence and with goals under my belt. I'm certainly more equipped to tackle League One and I'm looking forward to the challenge."
Wanderers will head into League One however, without skipper David McCracken and Pittman has followed Leon Johnson in the tributes to the Scot.
JP said: "Cracks was good for the club both on and off the field. Off the field he was a great character around the place and on the pitch he was a tremendous leader.
"It's going to be difficult to replace someone of his quality but I'm sure the manager will find someone."
