Wycombe Wanderers have parted company with Nathan Ashton, after the 22-year-old had his contract terminated by mutual consent.

The ex-Fulham defender, who was deployed mainly on the left side of midfield for the Wanderers, made 13 appearances after signing for the club in July 2008.

Ashton last pulled on the Quarters in the 1-0 defeat away to Lincoln City back in March.

Manager Peter Taylor told wwfc.com: "Nathan and myself both agreed that he should look elsewhere to get more football, I respect his decision and it's a very professional one."
