Amongst the many spoils of promotion is a change of scenery for Wanderers fans, as they get the opportunity to visit a whole host of new locations after a five year spell in the bottom tier of English Football.
It therefore seems as good a time as any to take a look at some of the new opponents the Chairboys will be battling with next season, as Peter Taylor's side prepare to chase their dream of Championship football.
Naturally some opponenets will be more familiar than others, but after half a decade out the loop there is no harm in refreshing our memories.
First up...
Brighton and Hove Albion
Now preparing to enter their fourth straight season in League One, the Seagulls will be looking to improve on a 16th place finish in the third tier last time out. They pulled away from a relegation battle thanks to the appointment of Russell Slade as manager, as the ex-Yeovil boss took over in March and earned himself a two year contract by winning four of the last five games of the campaign.
Brighton had pushed further up the table a season previously, finding themselves just one place outside the play-offs at the end of the 2007/08 season - but with a much anticipated new stadium set to open in 2011 they certainly hold Championship ambitions.
Albion fans will be further filled with optimism by the news that new Chairman Tony Bloom is set to provide heavy funding for the move to Falmer, and the new head has promised a swift return to the top of the Football League.
Indeed it will be a new look side that take on the Chairboys next season, as the club recently revealed that no less than 14 players will not have their contracts renewed at the Withdean.
